LIP FILLER AFTERCARE
Bruising and swelling is always a risk with any injectable treatment and can last up to 7 days. Please factor this in when booking.
Cold compress every hour on day of treatment.
Avoid alcohol, exercise, Nurofen and fish oil for 24 - 48 hours to minimise swelling/bruising.
Apply plain lip balm only for 12 hours (no makeup for 12 hours).
Hirudoid cream can help with bruising and swelling from the following day.
Start massaging 24 hours post treatment. Massage firmly 4 times a day for 1 week.
Allow a full 14 days for swelling to subside before considering symmetry, size, shape or adding more.
No international travel for 14 days after your lip filler treatment. This allows ample time for follow up if required.
Always get in touch immediately if you experience any skin colour changes around your mouth, unusual swelling, or pain. Call the clinic during work hours or contact us via DM on IG or Email hello@erinaesthetics.com.au

Some dermal fillers will take 3 - 4 weeks to reach their full potential.
