Using thermo-mechanical technology, the machine is stamped across the treatment area creating micro channels to help induce a controlled injury, the skin will go through a natural healing process resulting in new collagen stimulation. Tixel is suitable for all areas of the body, most commonly treated areas are face, neck, décolletage and hands. + How many treatments are required?

4-6 treatments are required, spaced out at 6 weekly intervals. Maintenance treatments are recommended.

Results can last years although the skin will still naturally age so maintaining the result is essential.

+ Are results immediate?

Usually patients will start to see visible results 4-6 weeks post treatment as the collagen begins to renew. Results can continue to improve months after a course of treatments.

There is minimal downtime post treatment, although you will experience redness and swelling for a few days, as well as dry dots (micro-crusting) that can last up to a week. This can be easily covered with make-up 24 hours after treatment.
