Bio-remodelLing Injections
About Bio-remodelling Injections
Bio-remodelling Injections are revolutionary in the way they can treat skin laxity, using bio-remodelling to achieve results of firmer, healthier and glowing skin. They are the ideal way to fight against dehydration, skin laxity and the crepe-like texture of ageing skin. The product is a hybrid of high-molecular-weight and low-molecular weight hyaluronic acid, with the highest concentration of hyaluronic acid on the market.
The Bio-remodelling Injections utilise the power of hyaluronic acid which has both antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties. This sugar molecule is naturally found in the body but decreases as we age. This natural decline reduces the skins ability to retain moisture and elasticity leading to the formation of lines and wrinkles. Hyaluronic acid also stimulates cell proliferation-inducing collagen, elastin and hyaluronic acid production.
Bio-remodelling Injections differ from traditional hyaluronic acid dermal fillers in that they will not change the face with localised volume. While it contains the same molecule as most traditional dermal fillers, the molecules in this product are uniquely concentrated and non-crosslinked which makes them act differently in the skin. The product has a honey-like consistency allowing the product to spread within the skin.
The treatment provides a slow release of high concentration hyaluronic acid into the top layer of the skin (the epidermis) while stimulating the fibroblast cells in the deeper layers of the skin (the dermis), increasing the natural production of collagen, elastin and hyaluronic acid.
Treatment
Upon arrival, a registered Nurse will take you through a detailed consultation prior to treatment. The nurse will discuss potential side effects and adverse events as well as benefits that are expected to be seen. The nurse will map out and inject at 5 sites across both sides of the face, where mild stinging may be felt.
Swelling at the site will typically subside after 3-4 hours.
Mild generalised swelling may present for up to one-week post treatment. Initial results can be seen at one week however full results can take 6-8 weeks as this is the time that it takes for the body to produce collagen and elastin.
