The Benefits of Fat Dissolving Injection & Genius RF Microneedling

Erin Aesthetics offers both fat dissolving injections and skin needling with radio-frequency treatment as means to help contour the jawline. Each treatment can be used alone depending on the individual. Where there is skin laxity in the area it is recommended that both treatments are utilised.

Fat Dissolving Injections

Here at Erin Aesthetics, we utilise a fat dissolving cosmetic injectable solution that will target and destroy fat cells and permanently reduce the volume under the chin. 

The removal of the fat in this area will see the jawline more defined. Several treatments are required, however results are permanent as the destroyed fat cells cannot be regenerated. 

Treatment takes approx 45 minutes and results are seen several weeks post treatment.  

Genius RF Microneedling 

This treatment is one of a kind, using 49 insulated gold plated microneedles which release radiofrequency energy into the skin. What makes this treatment unique is that the microneedles bypass the epidermis layer of your skin, causing less damage whilst also stimulating the collagen present in deeper layers.

The role of radiofrequency in this process is to cause coagulation which in turn stimulates fibroblasts which results in neocollagenesis: collagen production that will tighten, refine and smooth the skin. 2-3 sessions of treatment are recommended with each session occurring every 4-6  weeks to ensure the best results to tighten and contour the jawline area.
