Healite LED: The Skin-Healing Power of Light Therapy

Healite LED light therapy is an effective, relaxing treatment with no downtime that increases collagen and elastin production, regenerates skin cells, calms inflammation, increases the skin's healing ability and destroys acne causing bacteria. Healite LED is also safe if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. 

What is Healite II?

Low-Level Light Therapy (LLLT) using the Healite II is a TGA approved medical device backed by proven clinical studies, harnessing the properties of 830/590nm and 415nm light via light emitting diodes (LED) technology. This device works at a cellular level to effectively combat acne, reduce redness, rejuvenate the skin and so much more without the possibility of physical trauma or thermal damage. 

What are the benefits?

LED works by stimulating the mitochondria within skin cells which in turn boosts adenosine triphosphate production (ATP) to promote healing, DNA repair and cellular regeneration. LED reduces skin and tissue inflammation and speeds up healing while also stimulating collagen and elastin production. LED will also boost blood circulation, cellular oxygenation and improve overall skin clarity, tone and texture. 

Yellow Light: 830nm with 590nm photo-sequencing wavelength - 

The yellow coloured light is best for stimulating wound healing, reducing inflammation and overall skin rejuvenation. This light is also best used post procedure to reduce bruising and downtime and is great for any inflammatory skin conditions such as eczema, dermatitis and psoriasis.

Blue Light: 415nm Wavelength - 

The blue coloured light is used to treat active acne and congestion. The blue light is responsible for killing off acne causing bacteria. Often blue 415nm and yellow 830nm are used in combination to help fight acne.

How long do results last?

The number of recommended treatments will depend on the skin condition. A general rule is 2 Healite treatments per week for 4-6 weeks then monthly sessions are recommended to maintain skin health. Healite works perfectly in conjunction with almost all of our skin treatments and can also be done as a standalone treatment for a pre-event pick me up. Healite is included with most of our facial treatment and can be added to any injectable appointment. There are no associated risks or downtime with Healite II treatment.
